Frequently asked questions
Your trust is our top priority. We believe that buying a luxury watch online should be a transparent, honest, and hassle-free experience. That’s why we guarantee that every timepiece we offer is 100% genuine and authentic—unless explicitly noted otherwise (e.g., non-OEM strap or custom bezel).
Our mission is to be your most trusted online destination for buying and selling authentic new and pre-owned luxury watches. We back our authenticity promise with a full money-back guarantee if any watch is found to be anything less than authentic.
Please note that Nashville Dial is not an authorized dealer for any of the brands we sell. Each watch is carefully evaluated by our in-house team and serviced or restored as needed by our trusted watchmakers to ensure quality and performance.
Trademarks and Brand Affiliation: Nashville Dial is an independent dealer and is not affiliated with Rolex USA or any other brand we carry. All brand names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Most watches purchased from Nashville Dial ship within one (1) business day after we receive and verify cleared payment. All U.S. orders are sent via FedEx Overnight Shipping and come fully insured at no extra cost to you, unless otherwise arranged.
We currently accept three forms of payment:
Bank Wire
Zelle
Cash (available for in-person transactions only)
If you'd prefer to pay by credit card or PayPal, you’re welcome to purchase through our eBay or Chrono24 stores. Please note that prices on those platforms are slightly higher to cover their associated fees.
While we are exploring credit card options for direct purchases, we have yet to find a solution that balances strong protection for our business with reasonable costs for our clients. By using the payment methods above, we’re able to keep our prices as competitive as possible.
Yes, Nashville Dial offers international shipping to many countries. We partner with a third-party insurance provider and use FedEx to ensure secure, fully insured delivery. If full insurance coverage is available for your destination, we’re happy to ship there.
Please note that any VAT, import duties, or taxes are the buyer’s responsibility. Nashville Dial does not cover or assume liability for these charges. Additionally, international shipping does come with an added fee due to higher shipping costs compared to domestic orders.
Yes, Nashville Dial gladly accepts trade-ins on most luxury watch brands. To begin, we’ll need clear photos of your watch, along with details about its condition, whether it includes the original box and papers, and any other relevant information. Based on that, we’ll provide you with an estimated trade-in value.
If you decide to move forward, we’ll send you a fully insured shipping label to send your watch to us. Once received, our team will authenticate and inspect it to confirm it matches the description and is functioning properly. If the watch differs from what was described, Nashville Dial reserves the right to revise the trade-in offer.
Once everything checks out, we’ll finalize the remaining balance—whether that means you’re adding cash to complete the trade or we’re issuing a payment to you.
Selling Your Watch
Selling your timepiece to Nashville Dial is a great way to turn a watch you’re no longer wearing into cash. Whether you're downsizing your collection or simply need the funds, we’ll provide you with a fair market offer based on the current value of your watch. Please note, most of the watches we purchase are pre-owned, and we factor in the costs of servicing, refinishing, shipping, and resale margin when making our offers—we are a business, and we can only buy watches when there is a viable resale opportunity.
Once we agree on a price, we’ll send you a fully insured shipping label. After your watch arrives, we conduct a detailed inspection and authentication to ensure everything matches the description. If all checks out, we’ll issue payment within 24–48 hours via your preferred method. If any undisclosed issues are found—such as the watch not being authentic, not functioning properly, or having more wear than described—Nashville Dial reserves the right to revise the offer.
Trading Your Watch
Trading is an excellent choice if you’re looking to upgrade or swap a watch you own for something new. Nashville Dial accepts trade-ins from most luxury brands. To get started, send us photos and details, including condition and whether it includes box and papers. We’ll then provide an estimated trade-in value.
If you accept, we’ll issue a fully insured shipping label. After we receive and inspect the watch to confirm it’s in the stated condition and functioning properly, we’ll finalize any balance due—whether that means you add cash or we do. If the condition doesn’t match the description, we may need to adjust the trade-in value accordingly.
Consigning Your Watch
If you’re aiming to get the highest possible return, consignment is your best option—just keep in mind that payment is made only after the watch sells. We’ll work to list your watch at a strong market price and charge a small commission once it’s sold.
To begin, send us photos and details of the watch. We’ll discuss a target list price, and once agreed, we’ll send a fully insured FedEx shipping label along with a consignment agreement outlining the terms. Upon receiving the watch, we’ll take professional photos, list it, and market it for sale. If we receive an offer below the listing price, we’ll contact you for approval. Once the watch sells, you’ll receive your payout minus our consignment fee.

Under $2,500 – Flat fee of $300
$2,500 to $5,000 – Flat fee of $500
$5,000 to $15,000 – 10% of the sale price
$15,000 to $20,000 – 9% of the sale price
$20,000 to $25,000 – 8% of the sale price
$25,000 to $30,000 – 7% of the sale price
$30,000 to $40,000 – 6% of the sale price
$40,000 to $60,000 – 5% of the sale price
$60,000 to $100,000 – 4% of the sale price
Over $100,000 – 3% of the sale price
These fees cover shipping, authentication, and inspection costs. If your watch requires servicing or polishing to make it sale-ready, those costs will be deducted from your proceeds after the consignment fee is applied.
Example:
If your watch sells for $5,000:
$500 consignment fee
$50 polish fee (with your consent)
= $4,450 net to you.
Important Note: We will never perform a service or polish your watch without your explicit approval.
